Context: As a Senior PHP/Symfony Engineer, you will be pivotal in setting the foundation for our one of our critical product future. You will join a dynamic team of 4, embarking on a journey to transition our system from a legacy stack to a modern, efficient architecture. Your expertise will guide the refactoring or redevelopment process, ensuring a smooth transition to a new stack with a focus on Hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
What experience and skills do I need?- Over 4 years in experience with Symfony, a strong background in software architecture principles is plus.
- Proven track record of working with legacy systems and migrating to modern PHP frameworks.
- Familiarity with Hexagonal architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
- Experience in building and consuming APIs, with an emphasis on scalability and security.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance policies, including functional and automated testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and mentor within a team environment.
- Fluent in Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
